RHIT & CCS, CCS-P or CPC?

Q: I currently have my RHIT and CCS. What would you recommend if I wanted to get certified for physician office coding, CCS-P or CPC? Christina

Q: Do you think if I take the CPC-H would be easier to complete? debbie
A: Hi Debbie - if you are familiar with OPPS then it could be easier but I tend to think of the CPC as the base exam then the "H" or the "P" require reimbursement knowledge
