Okay so I'm anxious to find out more about Practicode! Correct me if I'm wrong please. Practicode cost $249 and I may can land a remote coding job but it's not guaranteed? I really want to do this, I think I could get a lot of practice from this. If possible can you talk about this in the webinar tonight?

Hi Ashley,

Practicode is $249 but it was actually supposed to go up to $299 but we want to let everyone know before we do that - so get it while it's at this price https://www.cco.us/practicum/

Practicode is a tool where you login and code code code - the system scores your accuracy and speed and gives you a proficiency score. You can share this with prospective employers once you get it to a respectable number. If you appy for a job with Aviacode the makers of Practicode they trust the scores so much that they hire people based on proficiency vs. experience. Of course there are no guarantees but Aviacode created this software for a reason - they need remote coders - lots of them - but they need to make sure they know what they're doing before they put them on a clients case load. So this really is a great solution.

You can choose to practice one specialty at a time which really improves your score quickly. Let us know if you have any other questions. A lot of the details are on the info page

Okay thanks Lori! Laureen is it best for me to get my ICD-10 and 2014 CPT & HCPCS books first? I was wondering if it's a lot of ICD-10 coding.

Practicode has modules such as obgyn or ortho, cardio etc in addition to the ICD-10 . There are alot of free i-phone apps for coding as well. There is an online ICD-10 www.icd10data.com & I just told my FB group Create A Coder about Epicoder which is free this year for the transition to 10 & it has access to CPT, ICD-9 & 10 HCPCS http://www.yeihealthcare.com/epicoder

Will Aviacode/Practicode ever offer a discount again? I found out about this after the fact months later and if I did get in on time, dont know if they take payment plans or if it has to be all or nothing?
