I really need help. I'm a new coder and work for an RTC (residential treatment center - psychiatric skilled nursing center for kids) that has never billed for services and now wants to and need to determine what are the correct codes. For admission with Psychiatric Diagnostic Eval (No medical) can we use 90791? and for admission Psychiatric Diagnostic Eval (with medical) 90792? or do we just use the 99304-99306 codes? We have a pediatrician also that sees kids for illnesses, etc, what EM codes would I use for those clinic visits all done here at the facility? Any help would be greatly appreciated
