When coding continuous nerve blocks 64415, 64446 or 64448 how do you code for the follow up when the patient is sent home with the catheter and the follow up is being done via telephone by the anesthesiologist?

This was covered in the November 2013 Q&A Webinar.
According to the guidelines for reporting Telephone Services (CPT 99441-99443), it is stated that if the telephone call is within the postoperative period of the previously completed procedure, then the telephone services are considered part of that previous procedure.
