I am currently taking the PBC course and hope to sit for CPC certification in the fall but I could really use some experience in the medical records/office/billing field. I come from the veterinary field. I have always loved anatomy/phys and feel pretty comfortable with my abilities to walk the walk and talk the talk. Where I need a lot of experience is in an actual medical office. I need experience with insurances and medicare and looking at medical charts as opposed to veterinary charts.
What titles should I be looking for when trying to find an entry level position in the medical field?
