Our cardiologists, in their final echo report, list their findings leaving it to the coders to figure out a payable diagnosis code. An example appears below, but many, many of the echos have similar findings:
1. Mild concentric LV hypertrophy with mild diffuse hypokinesis of the LV & EF of 47%.
2. Mild left atrial enlargement.
3. Thickening of the aortic valve.
4. Mitral annular calcification.
5. Mild aortic insufficiency.
6. Mild tricuspid regurgitation w/o elevated velocity
What diagnosis codes would you come up with?
thanks!
