Q&A CODING INPATIENT HOSPITAL

New Member
I was wondering if insurance companies accept claim when drs use the consult codes for hospital visits? I know medicare no longer allows but do other insurances except? I usually use the 99233 or 99232 because I code mostly medicare so hve never used the consult codes. I know they hold a higher dollar value. Thanks
