ICD Code Also & Additional Notes I10

I am coming across codes, such as:

H26.212 - Cataract with neovascularization, left eye. There is an code also note and also additional notes, well there will be to code from this section. But not CODE ALSO additional like the example.

For my coding scenarios, there is no additional information provided to code for to the code also note. I am coming across when the answer sometimes has the additional code and sometimes it does not.

And some scenarios, still don't provide the information. I am getting confused when to CODE ALSO.

I10 codes high. I understand coding for example Y99.9, with H20.023, but some of these are throwing me off. When there is no additional information to code also, but there is a code also attached to the I10 code.

Any suggestions?

Yes I know that you don't need to code a CODE ALSO note - my message was confusing sorry. I am using the I10 book from the blitz. There is nothing IN the example to code a CODE ALSO, but the answer key will give me the code also I10.

But then I code to the code also because the information is given but the answer key does not code the CODE ALSO I10 code. LOL . its confusing .
