Boyd: Yeah. Just give them a little recap about our three courses there Alicia, while I copy the links into the chat.

Alicia:   Well, I think everybody knows, or if you don’t know when you’re new, you’re going to find out that I love ICD-10, and we’ve got some fantastic steps to get you prepared for ICD-10 and make you fall in love with ICD-10 as well. First of all, we have an ICD-10-CM Blitz and we went down to Florida at Boyd’s studio, recorded a two-day event that gives you, it’s a 16-hour equivalent. Lots of great CEUs, 16 CEUs just on ICD-10 with the basis being able to pass the proficiency assessment, but it’s much more than that. It really helps you prepare for ICD-10.  If you’re already a CPC and you just need a little extra training, this is what’s for you, the ICD-10 Blitz. But, let’s say you need more than just the Blitz, you really want to get down to the specialties and understand each body system in ICD-10. Then, we have an ICD-10-CM Full Course, and it’s an 80-hour equivalent course worth 40 CEUs. That’s more than you need in two years with the AAPC, and again that’s ICD-10-CM. And, because it’s such a long course, Laureen put in a payment plan, so that’s kind of nice.

Last, we wrap it all up with two fantastic practice exams. Now, we have a free 50- question exam. You might want to just go and take that and see, “Do I need the Blitz? Am I okay, kind of, but I just need a little brush up with ICD-10, can I transition pretty well?” Or, if you don’t do well on that free exam, that’s an indication that, “OK, I think I need a full course. I need a little more in-depth training.”

And then, if you go to your training and you want to take another CPC practice exam, we have another 50-question practice exam that’s $29.95. Not much,just a drop in the bucket to see if you’re ready and make you feel comfortable for that proficiency assessment. I can tell you that our free exam and the paid one is we’re told is much more difficult than the proficiency assessment. So, if you did not know, if you’re a certified, core certified AAPC member, you do need to take this proficiency assessment here before December 31, 2015. But just be prepared, don’t let the time fly and miss out on getting ready.
